Ebonyi to distribute FG palliatives
The Ebonyi State Government, on Sunday, said arrangement had been concluded for it to roll out the much-awaited Federal Government palliatives to residents.
Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly and Chairman of the State’s Fundraising and Welfare Committee, Mr. Francis Nwifuru, said this during a statewide broadcast, in Abakaliki, the State Capital, on Sunday.
Nwifuru said, “The palliatives and sketches on modalities for its distribution are ready.”
According to him, Governor David Umahi had made provisions for food items and condiments that would get to everyone in the State.
The Speaker, also announced that at least 200 persons per polling unit across the 1,785 polling units in the State, would benefit.
Nwifuru said, “When we roll out these palliatives, I am sure it will get to everyone in Ebonyi State, be you the rich, stakeholder, worker and poorest of the poor.”
